Marie Davies
From swimming with dolphins, to diving with sharks, Marie has spent many hours underwater interacting and filming marine life. In fact, you’ll never see her on a dive without some sort of camera in her hand!

Stormwater Productions is an established video production company. It was formed in Sydney, Australia in 2000 by experienced television producer, director and underwater cinematographer - Marie Davies.
Our experienced crew(s) are hired on a project-to-project basis which ensures delivery of a high quality product at a competitive price.
Our client base is constantly expanding beyond Australia to companies in Indonesia, PNG, the UK and the US. (Click to see client list).
Marie Davies has been working in television and radio for over thirteen years. She learned to SCUBA dive with the BBC Dive Club in London in 1996 and has been filming underwater and taking photographs ever since.
In 1999 Marie gave up her job at the BBC to embark on a round-the-world adventure of a lifetime. Arriving in Australia to celebrate the Millennium, she loved it so much, she never left!
Thousands of dives later, Marie is now producing and filming underwater for Network Ten’s number one kids program - Totally Wild. Prior to that she was The Walt Disney Company’s Official Underwater Cinematographer & Marine Specialist for five years.
Marie has made several studio appearances on numerous Australian/New Zealand magazine shows, including Saturday Disney, Channel 7’s Big Arvo and Studio Disney.
Marie is a talented photo journalist, and is a regular contributor and Australian correspondent for DIVER Magazine. (Click to view TV interviews & articles).
Marie is a qualified ADAS Part 1 Commercial Diver and spent over one year filming for Mike Ball Dive Expeditions in Australia and three months in Papua New Guinea working for Tropical Diving Ventures. |
